It's kinda dumb that my university doesn't allow you to sign up for a dorm if you have family in the city tbh
Yeah the average such person has a more stable living situation than average, but it's certainly not universal lol, and there's already a requirement to have a very low income anyway
Plus, it's a dorm lol, people generally don't want to live in them if they can avoid it
