In my case, this usually happens when I post from my photo gallery rather than from inside the Tusky app. When I switch to something else during posting and try to go back to Tusky, I only see my gallery app and whatever else I was doing in recent apps, not Tusky. If I then go to Tusky, occasionally the thing I was working on will be there, but usually it shows whatever part of the app I looked at it the last time I opened it and the draft is gone.
