Today's nerd problem: I finally replaced my eight year old laptop. I had broken the shift key on it about a year into owning it and the entire shift *mechanism* no longer worked. So I remapped the keys so that caps lock did the shift function and then just held it down to do caps lock things. I also have a desktop machine and would move between modalities, figuring it was keeping my brain young.

Now I'm trying to unlearn "caps lock key does shift functions" and IT'S SLOW GOING. 😂
