I am very interested in the difference in forecasts between mainstream media and the weather app on my phone. At 6am (an hour ago) mainstream media saying to expect gusts of wind up to 130kph. My weather app saying 72kph. Mainstream media has half of the country on the highest alert possible with “emergency status” in place. My weather app has me thinking that it’s just going to be a blustery 12 hours with decent amount of rain. 🤷‍♂️

Gm. There is a big cyclone on the way with projected landfall in my area late Saturday night. I will spend some time today and tomorrow clearing the gutters and generally organising stuff in preparation for high winds and rain. Fun fun fun! 🤩
