Listen, the official Pixelfed apps are for everyone else, you know, the people who aren't familiar with the fediverse.
You are free to use 3rd party apps if this is such a problem, but you do have to question why you are so concerned about this when we have an open API and a vibrant ecosystem of apps.
It's federated and open, period. You don't have to use the official app.
