"Daiei Gothic" box set from Radiance is two for two with one to go; "The Snow Woman" (dir. Tokuzo Tanaka, 1968) is another utterly fantastic film. Absolutely gorgeous to look at, the story of Yuki-onna is beautifully told here. One of those films where you could frame every single shot and hang it in a gallery

Shiho Fujimura is stunning as Yuki and delivers a very emotional performance
