I switched parties 3 years ago, from the Social Democrats to the Former Commies. Not because my opinions had changed: because the Soc Dems were taking xenophobic stances in an obvious attempt to get their working-class male voters back from the Fascists.

And thus prof. Jenny Andersson:

"Ideologically, however, the party has shifted to the right – and it prides itself on this."

They knew they'd lose people like me. But that we'd still support their *coalition*.
