The case was that the house was extended 1m some time ago, and the support for the beam that supports the roof is not perfect. My father stopped by today and suggested this diagonal structure, instead of having a beam, centered under the roof support beam, I made this solution. Only the top part will be visible inside the room, and more floor space is created.
The diagonal beam is 4x4 that I made by doubling two 2x4s.
Feels pretty solid.
