Because the people that brought us all this are still sailing the ship. And as long as that continues, Bitcoin will never, ever live up to Satoshi’s vision. They universally object to finishing the features Satoshi himself advocated for. They don’t want ledger privacy. They don’t want script restoration. They don’t want sidechains. They want Bitcoin to just be a giant scam that they pull on you, on the public, and on investors.
