Way too often women have worse health outcomes because in the 21st century we're still not being believed when we talk about our pain.
The fact that these young women had to fly to the other end of the world to get treatment because our politicians are sitting on their hands is outrageous. It means that only those who can afford to pay or raise enough money, will get treatment. The rest will be doomed to a life in crippling pain or worse. The cost of that is much higher than hiring and training doctors to offer treatment here.
