- I didn't realize how much humanity was addicted to automatic feeds, from Instagram and TikTok, given that they are a very recent invention.
I was going to say this was status quo bias, and I think it is. But it's not only that as most people are much more eager to adapt themselves to a change when it's dictated by a huge corporation. Maybe they assume it's more right because it comes from the "winner".
I guess we've just underestimated how much everybody likes to be subservient to a stronger man. Random example I saw today:
