Keep going with the writing!
Many people around me are reaching to the “world being unstable” but I choose to remain calm. Whether the coming oil shortages are the result of hubris and miscalculation or a more sinister conspiracy of manufactured scarcity is impossible to say. But the individual’s response to it - knowing your neighbors or members of shared communities, thinking through contingencies, having backups of water, canned foods and tradables (for neighborly good will), securing (if possible) self-owned solar capacity and batteries (which can be workable in a place like Thailand) - should be the same in either case.
Hopefully, this might also get more countries to realize that they need their own nuclear power base-layer. We shall see.
