It's been 5 days since I got my BDO ATM savings debit card, and I still can't believe that I can finally save my own money. 💖 At the age of (7²-24), I don't think it's too late to start embracing the reality of life and the responsibilities that come with being an adult. ☺️ My mom has been giving me an allowance over the years, but I never touched it because I didn't want to feel indebted to her. I grew up in a very toxic environment, and that influenced the way I viewed things.
But you know what? I ended up using the allowance I had saved for years to start a business. I need to grow that money so I can build a more secure future and support myself. Being a PWD is not a hindrance or an excuse for me to stop working toward my goals. That's why, since I was 18, I've been doing my best to become independent and learn how to survive on my own.
I'm still learning, but I'm proud of how far I've come!~ 🤩
