Nearly every time I've said something that could be disagreed with, someone pops up to tell me that I'll be hung first, because traitors before enemies! Yes, now imagine if they had power to do more than say I should be executed xD

AND once again, I can relate this to churches. I have a relative that was thrown out of their church, a community they spent much their free time with over the last 20 years, because they believed something the church did not approve.

Organizations which derive their authority from ideological purity gather some of the must fucked up people you can find. Often they embody none of the virtues they insist upon affirming, and strongly resemble what they claim to hate.
