The final descent down the mountain and below the treeline in last month's hike involved a trail with variable types of footing. Mostly steep and covered with large boulders with occasional "ledgy" sections with small ledges, 3-5 feet high (~1+ m), that had to be climbed down (including a ladder on a big ledge!). But also some short sections where the trail leveled off and was boggy. An easy, fun descent! #FootpathFriday #hiking #mountains
