Bought a fly-eater plant that the seller at the booth swore by for killing fruit flies. Never worked. Now after vacation, a bunch of potatoes spoiled in the pantry and the ceiling was flooded with fruit flies. The plant? Dead in the corner.
If it had worked before, I'd say too much happiness can kill you, but being as it is, let's just say I'm obviously not a good plant keeper.
... I think it's because they lack toes one could massage.
