Not terrible from the perspective of terrain theory. just recently wrote about it.

When I initially saw people eating raw meat and eggs online I thought it was for dramatic shock factor and clickbait, but then I read the work of Aajonus Vonderplanitz and was very intrigued. Especially from a detoxification and regeneration standpoint. I find his work valuable because he healed himself of various terminal blood and bone cancers and autism. He also helped thousands of people cure “incurable” diseases, and I think anecdotal evidence and stories of direct experience are far more interesting and applicable than any peer-reviewed literature. I am certainly not convinced that scientific studies with controlled variables are capable of being extrapolated to living beings with a soul in a living environment. A lot of modern medicine and healthcare falls into a line of thinking that is steeped in materialism and the assumption that we are just a physical body, this realm is just made up of atoms bouncing around, and everything is a bunch of chemical reactions. What I have come to realize is that most everything we have been told is an inversion of truth, and many systems, theories, and frameworks can be falsified with a little curiosity and open-minded critical thinking. I am not really interested in proving anything, I just think it is important to increase your ability to say I don’t know but I know it’s not that. Certainty is the sign of an uncultivated mind.

So, we are sold the narrative that consuming raw or uncooked foods may increase your risk of foodborne illness. Yet so many traditional cultures and tribes do so. Aajonus states that raw fat is how we dissolve and pull out toxic substances in the body. Raw meat helps rebuild, regenerate, and reproduce cells throughout the body. He states that raw meat was the only protein that facilitates nerve-tissue regeneration and cellular reproduction. Detoxify with raw fats, regenerate with raw meat. Good thing we do none of this. Good thing we pasteurize the shit out of all dairy and make it “illegal” to sell anything raw (but not unlawful). Good thing we prefer to dump dehydrated, irradiated lifeless protein powder down everyone’s throats and pretend it will do the same work internally in the body. Good thing we have convinced everyone that you may die from bacteria infecting you, yet there are stories of people eating these raw foods and regaining the ability to walk after becoming paralyzed. Raw foods are healing. Enzymatically intact, bio-available for the body. Prepared by nature to be used perfectly and immediately.

You also have to think for a moment about why foods like raw oysters and steak tartar have traditionally been boujee, wealth-signaling foods. Because they are literal powerhouse foods, making you strong, coherent, and vital. It is intentional to build a fear narrative around these natural healing modalities to prevent you from leveraging life forces. We need these foods more than ever in this age of toxins, and it is not for clickbait to become a raw meat advocate or raw milk addict.

When we cook and heat foods they structurally change, so keeping them raw is important for the mechanisms claimed by Aajonus. Aside from death by infection narratives, we also must ensure we socially engineer non-fat diet depletion skinny culture; therefore, we end up with decades of toxins inside of us and not enough systems in place to get them out. Prioritizing the external facade rather than the internal processes and structures. So yes you can be fit and cut and internally full of toxins. And this could be potentially more damaging because fat is where your body can safely store toxicity away from vital organs. And when you drop fat storage artificially, maintain toxin intake/exposures, and do not implement enough methods to support your body in elimination, more serious damage can occur to your internal landscape. But hey at least the Instagram photo looks good even if your insides are decaying. Joking aside, because I have been through all of these phases and I get it. That is why I experiment. So how can we learn to work with the body’s innate processes to feel and look our best? Learn to have your body naturally regulated, a symptom-free life, and a composition you aren’t fighting so hard for. Prioritizing quality of life, longevity, and maximal fertility. Beauty is health’s inherent state. Strive for both, but achieve beauty through robust health- not brute force of over-working and under-eating. That method may be rewarding in the short-term but will not be rewarding years down the road. Focus on supporting drainage and detoxification through sweating, sauna, detox baths, raw fats, lymphatic massage, and yoga. Simultaneously implementing raw meats to rebuild and regenerate the body from the inside out, the most necessary organs and systems being repaired first.

You must accept that your body will change every single day, as it should because you are a living being. And you will go through seasons of discomfort. You must relinquish control over it. Control over the body and resistance to letting it heal, change, and fluctuate is difficult but necessary. “Change is a law, but it is also a law that no change extinguishes life” (Red Lion). That is something many of us struggle with and social media becomes a dangerous place of control, competition, and comparison. But the body is brilliant and when you get out of the way and give it the proper raw materials, it will do more than you could ever imagine.

I seriously don’t think I’d had any raw fat for the first 24 years of my life. But I had plenty of vaccines and pharmaceuticals thanks to having a conventional doctor as a father and adherence to indoctrination camp requirements (public school). Growing up on mostly processed foods and being exposed to plenty of other concerning lifestyle/environmental factors. But I don’t really blame any of this, I don’t really care anymore. Why dwell on what is already done. Why be a victim when you know the body, mind, and spirit are resilient and you can completely regenerate. You can consciously choose to heal anything, become anything, and create any reality you want to live in. I also believe we choose our lives, our parents, our experiences, our lessons. My upbringing has created the biggest and best catalysts to my life and my spiritual development, and I’m not even digressing into other physical or emotional events that have played a large role in my health challenges. Your story is important, but what you are willing to do about your story is more important.

So back to the raw meat and eggs. I really just wanted to see what happened and I really can’t say better things about what I’ve directly experienced, my sister has experienced, and others we have talked to. It has only been about 6 months and I have done maybe 75-85% raw foods, and I did not go extreme with food combining techniques and timing like Aajonus prescribes for people with serious conditions. Raw milk has been a part of my diet for a couple years but I had also been consuming pasteurized products like yogurt and butter with it (which now I will not touch). I had never had raw meat or eggs. But intuitively it makes sense. Unaltered direct vitality. Nature has provided the perfect foods for you, nothing more needs to be done. The closer you can consume a food to its natural state, the more benefits you will reap. I believe the most healing capacity will also come from having a direct relationship with growing your food yourself, as always shortening the time and distance to a food is the goal. I believe the food you grow yourself will adapt and mutate its composition to be the exact medicine you need, to balance your specific imbalances. In the Ringing Cedar books, Anastasia speaks of holding seeds in your palm, allowing them to collect the information from your body and your field. She advises to rub your spit on the seeds and the plants. To stand in the soil and let the toxins from the sweat on your feet inform the plants and the earth of your needs. Repeatedly doing this as they grow food for you. It is an exchange of information. Information that nature can use to create what you need to heal your body. It is about intention, connection, and relationship. This is the intimacy and sacredness we are missing in modern life and in food recommendations. The earth can architect specifically to support your own blueprint.

So, I’m not saying you have to never cook anything again but raw foods are an interesting approach and actually make life easier and simpler. Life is not about being a strict purist or perfectionist. Food can offer healing through many avenues. But I think it’s worth reading into this way of eating and experimenting for yourself. Day one of eating raw meat, I literally thought I was high. I had so much energy and was loopy. My sister and I were crying laughing so much that day. I did go through an initial phase of nausea from detoxification but it went away after a week or so, and I think that was from raw eggs specifically.

What raw foods I have been mostly eating:

  • Beef

  • Eggs

  • Milk, Cream, Butter, Yogurt, Kefir, Cheese

  • Honey

  • Fruit

  • Herbs

  • Dates

  • Some Vegetables: carrots, peppers, onion, tomato

  • Tuna & Swordfish

  • Oysters

Things we noticed over time:

  • Both of our menstrual cycles returning after years. For me, it had been almost 3 years. For her, much much longer. This is emotional and deeply karmic, and there is nothing more beautiful than the return of your cycle and the sight of blood after years of trying to figure out what is “wrong” with you or your body. A reminder that you feel fully safe again and your body has ample nourishment. A signal that you have stepped back into alignment and have found your rhythm. A story of softening and of spirituality over science. I will write more on the feminine energy in another piece, but I will note the immense joy of being able to feel again. There were times in my journey where frustration had me praying/crying and hoping that I would just be able to feel again. The fluctuations of being a woman, the dips and falls, the peaks. The daily mental, physical, and emotional changes. Feeling is a gift to the feminine after years of being flatlined.

  • Brighter eyes, becoming more clear. Green and brown/yellow eyes that are becoming more blue.

  • Very clear, thicker, more collagenous skin. More color and vitality. Everyone we meet asks us if we are in college?

  • Bone matrices growing. Teeth getting denser. Jaws expanding a bit.

  • Physical strength. Literally so strong and we haven’t even been lifting heavy weights, mostly bodyweight strength from power yoga.

  • Joy, laughter, levity. Energy is very consistent and high. Feeling really happy.

  • Tissue regeneration from areas of old injuries. Pain flaring up and then resolving where I have dislocated my shoulders and sprained my ankles.

  • Less overall inflammation, better lymphatic drainage. I have felt over the last few years that I struggled with fluid retention and lymphatic drainage- that layer that covers you that feels like it shouldn’t be there has greatly reduced.

  • Fat distribution patterns changing. Favoring areas that are for storing pregnancy reserves and reducing in areas that signal long-term hormone imbalances.

Raw food diet pairs very nicely with shifting your framework of health and body and world to terrain theory. Germ theory is a very victim-based framework while terrain theory is a sovereign approach. In germ theory, we run on fear. There are invaders, germs, pathogens, viruses, and invisible entities out to get us and kill us. There is nothing we can do to prevent our body from being infected, except some good ole vaccinations to prepare our body to fight intruders. Or some lovely antibiotics to wipe out our entire insides. Terrain theory is empowering and liberating. Fear less and strengthen yourself. Improve the quality and resiliency of your internal state. It must be noted that countless scientific studies trying to prove infectious disease paradigm and contagion theory have failed. The entirety of virology has been debunked. That angers people and I don’t know why because I think the truth is always simple and lies are confusing. To me, it doesn’t make sense that there would be a ton of stuff created on this earth to harm us and infect us. Nature is here to help us. Bacteria is life, it is natural. We are made up of bacteria. To me, it seems that so much of infectious disease and virology and pathology is medical jargon to make you feel powerless and stupid. To make you cling to being a victim and to shift accountability to an invisible enemy when in reality it was your choices and your lifestyle that toxified your own body. And when you fall ill, you don’t want to blame yourself, you want to blame a virus or some genetics. But your body has always just been trying to get the toxins out.

What intrigues me about terrain theory too is the concept of microzyma. It resonates deeply if you believe that your body is a self-regenerating healing vessel. Microzyma are fundamental units that can build and transform into different microorganisms. So your body can build a parasite inside you that can eat the heavy metals you have accumulated in order to help you get rid of them. I think that is super interesting. Allegedly raw milk has the most microzyma that have been observed in a food. I think a raw milk fast could be a future experiment. If there is accumulated toxicity, your microzyma can make more bacteria and bring them to said area of toxicity to help decompose the tissue and prepare it to be eliminated. Now with this framing, would we blame the bacteria for causing the illness/disease? Do we blame the fireman for being at the scene of the fire trying to put it out? I don’t think our body is ever just harming itself, and I don’t think we need to fear being infected by germs or bacteria or parasites. I feel that the sterilization of food and life itself has contributed to more problems. This way of viewing the body microcosmically and the world macrocosmically allows you to establish a high amount of trust. Your body is always on your side, automatically doing what is best for you. Nature is always recalibrating, restoring, repairing. Building, transforming, and purifying. We are Nature, and we are in continuous alchemy. It is by design of God. To trend towards optimal vitality and wholeness.

This realm is an information field. When things become suboptimal, the terrain of earth and in our body has the intrinsic capacity to communicate signals (symptoms) and then to create mechanisms to restore balance. But if we keep bombarding ourselves with too much toxicity for the body to keep up with, our removal and regeneration becomes limited. And we have demonized and fearmongered natural and easy ways of supporting restoration.

I find these perspectives and concepts to be relieving. Healing takes time, but this framework is simplifying. Stop introducing so many unnatural toxins, stop fearing invisible things, trust that your body and Creator are always on your side, and literally just order 8 lbs of Amrish raw butter to your door right now.
