I was thinking same, but now I'm convinced that everyone should know basics of politics and geopolitics.
Otherwise you getting manipulated by media and politicians.
It helps you to see larger picture and why countries moving the wway they do.
I'm not talking to wwatching TV/media to learn politics that's propaganda machine.
Read books by Quigly, Mckinder, etc.
