In ~3 weeks, 5yo and I are taking a trip to New York City (my partner has an unrelated work trip elsewhere at the same time). I grew up nearby, my father grew up in the city and worked his whole career there, I’ve spent a lot of time there and feel like I know the city well, but (A) it’s been a while, and (B) I’ve never thought about it in terms of showing a five-year-old around.
Given her interests, Liberty Island and the Natural History Museum are high on my list. Anyone have any other tips?
