There’s a huge gap between “isolate your kids forever, it’s your fault for having them anyway” and “oh well, nothing to be done, covid for everyone forever,” but pretty much zero public health authorities are educating people about the whole continuum of things in between. It sucks and I hate it but we as individual people can do better.
