Sometimes I think about the kid who rides a bike through our Cub grocery store, yelling that he’s the Gingerbread Man when store cops chase him. I intervened once when the cop caught him, and I de-arrested him, but I had the pleasure of seeing him do it again. Living his very best life and never giving up.
