A PSA from a seasoned protestor (Alexis Danzig)
Regarding the national guard being called out to Los Angeles because people are fed up with ICE grabbing people:
Douse eyes with water after a tear gas attack; not milk.
It's hard to keep milk sterile especially now in the hot weather.
Bacteria can contaminate the milk and potentially cause infection if applied to eyes or skin wounds.
Water or saline solutions to wash out eyes after a tear-gas attack are a-ok.
