6/ I started descending during sunrise to cover some ground, I knew I'd be east facing anyway. The morning views continued to impress as the sun got obscured by clouds but was low angle enough to still cast and reflect color under them. I made good time back to the lake and was able to move casually the rest of the way to get to the vehicle with time to spare for a job interview.
