OK hear me out. I don't disagree with you. I have the same inclinations. But I try to be honest with my analysis so please rip this thought up if you can.
Hasn't the past 100 or so years of fed policy and debasing the currency coincided with prosperity?
To be clear I don't support the fed, flat money or anything anti freedom.
I have in my mind some counter arguments to this conjecture, but, I'm in an intellectual vacuum with my family and friends and want to know what others think.
