I've been down this road on this very issue most of my life. If I didn't have to lift a finger to do anything other than sign a petition on this matter I'd sign it.

Anything more than that I know from experience is more about paychecks for "leadership," management, media and local celebrities etc. than it is about assuring Maine doesn't suffer the same fate as Sodom and Gomorrah.

All of this is tied together by the political term of art, sexual orientation.

As long as we leave that idea planted firmly in our thinking and jurisprudence we won't choose the narrow path in front of us. We'll stay on the broad road to destruction.

It's just too costly to believe that adults have a greater duty to choose sexual morality than children.

Your children or grandchildren might cut you off, or you might lose your job. I get it, believe me.

So go right on believing we're going to fix this by thinking it is evil to judge one another based on "sexual orientation."

We aren't going to protest, campaign and vote our way out of this. I'm sorry. But we aren't.

We are going to have to turn to the Moral Law. Every ... single ... one of us. And those who refuse will continue ruling in hell forever.

I chose to serve in heaven decades ago, no matter the cost to me.

People who want to serve in heaven are my friends.
