I knew the founders who chose that name. They were kids in an era that lionised "irreverence" in media and institutions, and they were cultivated to be young and have fun and try new things and pushed boundaries.
They tried it, and they had their fun. The boundary they pushed has pushed back, with lessons for all of us. I would have hoped that by now they'd have grown up and could say "That didn't age well, but we have. It's time to move on."
I'm disappointed that they have not.
