Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeahhh... I'm in complete agreement with you on this.
I'm having a little bit of difficulty with customizing the text colors in Cosmic Terminal, too. It's not very intuitive at all and there's no clear directions on how to do it. I'm pretty irritated.
I may ditch this in favor of another distro, tbh.
It may have potential, but it's definitely not there yet, so I may put this distro on the shelf for a year.
