My out of pocket heath expenses this year amounted to about $7000. Insurance paid $450 of that. I’m no longer even submitting my healthcare bills to insurance as the uninsured rate at most providers is way better (40% off at my orthopedic doc). My insurance is simply there for catastrophic needs. Next year the marketplace in MO won’t offer any plans that cover BJC network or my docs. 🤬
