I do have a compromise possibly. How we’re currently set up is we use Podserve to host the mp3s. The feed the index has however is a link to a self hosted feed. We upload the new ep to Podserve and copy all the new info in using sovereign feeds. The main issue with this is it makes it hard for two people to work on the same feed remotely.
What if we did the same set up here? Podhome to host and keep the feed as is in the index
