Chomsky is not just a brave brilliant person.
he is more approachable than anyone else. he is more famous than anyone else i've ever been ignored by.
when i emailed Chomsky to ask a question about a lecture of his, he responded in 3 hours.
when i asked if i could sample his voice in a song, he said "sure, whatever you need."
i got turned down using samples of much less famous people, or they ignored me, and were nowhere near as kind.
