If you could shift an artists discography forward to today’s music scene, who do you think would be the most popular?
I would argue Lil Wayne. His songwriting was mind-blowing during his rise to stardom, but I think if he’d become popular in a short form video content era…. It’d be over. Would have been insane.
It would also mean that all the less talented clones of his style wouldn’t be around yet, which I’m here for.
