Respectfully, there is a pattern I have noticed in people who advocate for a different coin:
Someone will point out a flaw in Bitcoin, argue that their coin does it better, and then finds a way of describing Bitcoin as an absolute failure based upon a narrow set of observations.
I respect your interest in optimizing privacy. But privacy is not the only thing that makes good money.
Is Bitcoin perfect? No.
Is lightning perfect? No.
Will there be more layers built upon Bitcoin that make it better? Surely, yes. Do we know what they will look like? No.
Bitcoin is a humility test. We are simply one human, and we cannot know all the factors of why one coin gains more transaction than the others. Follow the energy, the chain with the most of it.
I focus only on Bitcoin not because of some grand explanation of its technical properties. I seek nature and am looking for the chain with the most nature inside of it.
I’m searching for the real word, and trying not to follow what my mind tells me is true.
Free markets allocate resources stemming from all collective human action. Ask not “which technology is the best money” but “why is Bitcoin money”?
