Yesterday we went bowling.
Right next to us was an old man.
I’d guess he was about 85 years young.
He was alone just by himself.
My daughter was fascinated.
She kept watching him play.
And he played well tbh…
quite a few strikes.
He never noticed her.
Didn’t even look at her.
Not once.
When he got up to leave I chose to approach him.
Something told me…leave this man with a few kind words.
So I said:
“Hey sir, I respect your game…not too bad for a young kid.”
He smiled.
And responded:
“Thank you… I’m always just trying my best.”
Then he picked up his stick…
A blind man’s stick.
And walked away.
He was blind. We hadn’t noticed.
Another priceless moment.
Another quiet lesson.
You never know what someone is carrying.
But you can always choose
what you give.
Respect & kindness.
Sometimes that’s enough
to touch a whole world.
Enjoy your day…
trying your best.

The world is full of fear & hate.
So a couple years ago I made it a daily habit to give at least one compliment to a random person.
Some reactions are priceless.
You’d be surprised…
I tell people when I like something about them…
their art, their laugh, their style, their energy, their voice, their way of being in the world.
I don't assume they already know or that it won't matter.
You have no idea how far a few honest words can go.
You might be the reason someone smiles today or the reason they keep doing what they love.
Appreciation costs nothing but it can rebuild confidence, fuel creativity & remind someone that they matter.
I don't hold back.
Your words can be the light someone didn't know they were waiting for.
Spread love not hate.
More love means more winning.
Thank you for being here.
You’re part of why I show up.
Enjoy a blessed day with your loved ones go hug your people today đź«‚
