I would... kinda agree. Wrapped crypto is the entire basis for Tor and unless one is really really really dumb in the implementation (key reuse), it can't *hurt* anything other than performance.
I think the copyright thing is a little uh..... drama-adjacent, but this person has probably been in professional spheres long enough to forget the rules 1 and 2 for online communities: 1) The rules only apply to people the moderation disagrees with 2) Any reason or no reason at all.
You'll never ever rules lawyer your way into getting an internet janny to admit they were wrong. It's never happened and it will never happen. Dude's sole and exclusive remedy is to call them out on a platform they do not control.
