I stopped using 😂 (cry laughing) to respond to my kid’s texts when they send me something funny, because I was told you should use 💀 (ded) instead.
Child now tells me in no uncertain terms that I should not use 💀.
I ask what emoji to use instead and “I shouldn’t have to be told”.
