Trauma doesn’t end when the event is over. It reshapes the brain, the body, and the way we relate to the world. And when it’s not healed, it gets passed down.
That’s why kids who were beaten sometimes grow up to beat their own kids.
Why cycles of abuse, oppression, and war repeat in the same places.
