I have never needed my academic transcript before this week. I sort of assumed I had a copy somewhere, along with the degree. I do not, the degree is a lone piece of paper.
Now I have to go through a frankly ridiculous process to get one - apply for an alumni email address by raising a ticket with uni IT, apply for a log in to the ANU Hub, log in to the ANU Hub and request a transcript, follow some unknown process to access the transcript.
Of course you can't just call or email someone, or fill out one single form with your ID, as you do for literally all other ID check processes. That'd be ridiculous!
I'm surprised they don't require a dance or artwork made in tribute.
At least I remembered my student number (a feat, given I left uni 20 years ago).
