This sounds like boomer logic. Birth has no correlation with 'good pet behavior' I've not noticed it.

It kinda reminds me of the boomer logic that like male cats are more affectionate than females, or that orange cats are assholes, etc. Like these things are correlated to personality in some way, when in reality it's probably anecdotal evidence that they took as universal truth.
