Today I learnt that the Futura typeface will enter the public domain in 2027, which means anyone will be able to forge their own Futura derivative without having to pay royalties (probably not with that name, because naming rights are A Thing).
Which is a very cool thing if you ask me because I'm very fond of Futura as a font.
