People mistakenly think that life is better now than it was 50 years ago because they have more technology.
That is completely false, since technology is generally deflationary.
The best example is food. Foods that 50 years ago were considered food for the poor are now considered food for the rich.
Families do not have enough purchasing power to maintain a healthy diet.
People are eating more and more junk food for one simple reason: you’re much poorer than you were 50 years ago.
That’s how the system works.
