Went through the emacs tutorial the other day. Some of the functionality is pretty cool. The base movement feels less simple than vim bindings, but certain things like being able to move in a sentence-aware way is neat.
The introduction is also significantly better than vim. You actually get instructions on how to get help, open the tutorial, get info on available commands, and most importantly exit the damn thing.
Immediate impressions? Pretty good.
