An interesting project whose autor hooked up EU law database to Grok and asked the latter to review each regulation, assessing its relevance according to a number of programmed parameters.

Right now the engine is around year 1968 with 9 regulations classified as irrelevant, 3 as relevant, with interesting even if vague justifications. I don’t think anyone will now rush to remove these regulations based on Grok recommendations alone, but maintenance of legacy law is a problem 10x worse than in the programming world - it simply does not exist in most countries. And LLM seem to be perfectly suited to critical analysis of large volumes of text.

P.S. it’s programmed in Lisp
