It’s not easy for some people to accept change, even when it takes less than a minute of effort… and it can be uncomfortable to tell people you no longer use WhatsApp or whatever spyware everyone is accustomed to using and has used to communicate with you in the past…

Luckily, it seems that if you, your opinions, or your services are actually a priority, or valued, they’ll give it a try. And if not, then they’ll make the effort when they finally want to talk to you badly enough.

I recently started the process of switching all my family, personal and professional communication over to White Noise… person by person, chat by chat… Signal is great, but centralized… White Noise is the new gold standard for private communication.

If those of us that are aware of the problem sit back and just go with the flow and do not use and actively spread the use of freedom tech, then I don’t see the needle moving much… but imagine if every person on Nostr switched over and then pushed all their contacts to use White Noise in order to reach them… how big that ripple could be… the impact it could have on personal privacy… seems worth the effort to find out
