My problem: Garden wisdom around here, passed down the ages, is that it's time to set out the tomato plants when the lilacs flower. However, that USED to be ~10 May up until recently. Last 2 yrs it was 4 May and this year 28 April. 10-day forecast shows no temps below 50⁰F/10⁰C. The plants are getting larger by the day in the greenhouse & need to go out soon. Why does my gardening heart think otherwise? I'm waiting at least another week!
