They have a solid contingent of people who would like to install “head-of-household vote”, which of course, leaves it to the male of the household to vote for what he thinks is best for <ahem> everyone. Add to that the push to repeal no fault divorce, and Vance’s comments… feature not a bug, appealing to a very specific demographic.
