I think AI is a tool that will add value when operated in a truly decentralized fashion (ie the compute level) by individuals and companies. Running AI in this way will not allow its significant costs to be hidden by VC slush or subsidized by public funds, so it will be used only where is actually does add real value - in fact the realization of underlying costs will cause the market to actually seek out where AI add value rather and stuffing it into everything and then loudly claiming “humans are obsolete” because you need the next 100 Billion of other people’s money to keep the show going.

Without the recognition of the cost side of the equation (which can only be made possible by fiat, which is to say theft), AI is made into a bullshit technology to augment bullshit jobs, to further enshittify bullshit politics, and to distract and entertain bullshit people in bullshit societies.

GM☀️ I think AI will take over most of the jobs that exist today. Very few people will be working the same job they have now. I imagine two possible outcomes in this scenario:

1. People can’t afford basic necessities so the government steps up to “save the day” with UBI in the form of a fully controlled and surveilled CBDC (maybe tether). This will pump the price of bitcoin and reward those who prepared early on.

2. AI will make everything so much cheaper that you’ll be able to afford things with less. You’ll still need a job but the job will be doing things that AI can’t do. New jobs that you never imagined possibly existing will become normal. As everything becomes cheaper to produce, thanks to AI, true value will concentrate in the things that are hardest to produce: Bitcoin 📈

Maybe the reality is a combination of the two. This is not financial advice feds 🖕
