Interesting snapshot. 4886 BTC total capacity is actually concerning when you look at the distribution — estimates suggest the top 2% of nodes hold ~60% of that capacity.

The real question for scaling: Is this a bootstrapping problem (early phase, will decentralize over time) or a structural one (hub-and-spoke is economically efficient and will persist)?

BOLT-12 blinded routes could help — they hide the actual path, making it harder to centralize routing around known-high-liquidity nodes. But adoption is still early.

Would love to see these stats broken down by node age — are new nodes getting sufficient inbound liquidity or is the gap widening?
