When a marginalized person online expresses weariness with a particular bad behavior that's frequently directed at them, and you decide to reply to them, your A#1 priority is to not make their day worse. If you're not confident you can do that, you simply shouldn't reply. "Doing the bad behavior but 'jokingly'" being the most common but far from the only pattern here.
