on adventures like that one his feelings often change over the course of the day. At Jackson summit it was “best day ever”. He summited fine but legs got tired in the long descent, which is pretty rocky and slow going. A nice dinner afterwards helped bring things positive again. He’s not hiked in a while but I think he’ll be up for more if he gets some regularity.
