I know the 10 minute block thing is supposed to be an average but it's odd how inconsistent it can be at times.
Had me thinking there was something wrong with my node, which appears to have FINALLY finished its IBD about two hours ago (7.5 days).
Think I finally understand why Saif spent so much of The Bitcoin Standard discussing previous forms of money. Because without that context, it's easy to dismiss Bitcoin as just another internet-based, unnecessary aggravation, rather than as an alternative to monetary systems that need war and corruption to survive.
